Frequently Asked Questions

Can I have my ceremony and reception onsite?
Yes, absolutely! We have a covered pavilion as well as the overlook.

Coming soon: "The Courtyard" will be large enough to hold a rented event tent.
How many does the cabin sleep?
"The Cabin" is our onsite 1400sq ft house that can sleep up to 8 guests (4 upstairs, 4 downstairs).
On your wedding day, the upstairs area is typically used as the "grooms suite" and the downstairs as the "bridal suite," but can be utilized however you'd like! The upstairs and downstairs lock off from each other and there is an exterior staircase leading to the upstairs space.

What is included with basic rentals?
With every venue rental, we include tables and tablecloths (up to 10 of the same linen, your choice of white or black), up to 112 black padded resin chairs, a venue representative on site, set up of the tables + chairs to your specifications prior to your rental time frame as well as break down of tables/chairs and disposal of bagged trash after your event, a sound system, and access to the cabin during the rental time frame for getting ready/storage/the event itself/etc.
We also have a "decor closet" you're welcome to borrow from! The decor closet has table runners and cloth napkins in various colors, candle holders, vases, faux florals, lamps, baskets, etc.
What's your recommended capacity?
While we can hold up to 200 without tables, we recommend no more than 100 guests for seated dinner receptions.

What are my vendor choices?
While we absolutely love our recommended vendors, we are currently an open-vendor venue. You're welcome to bring any vendors you choose, with appropriate insurance.
Do you allow self-serve alcohol?
We do not allow self-serve alcohol during events. If you're planning to serve alcohol at your event, you must hire a licensed, insured bartender to serve. We may provide you with recommendations.

What happens if it rains?
Our covered pavilion has heavy-duty curtains that can be closed to help mitigate rainfall, but most couples opt to delay their ceremony by a few minutes in order to have their ceremony in their preferred location.

Coming soon: "The Courtyard" at the entrance to the venue will be large enough to hold most rented enclosed tents for a backup plan.
Do I need to schedule a tour, or can I just drop by?
Our venue is located on private land within Petit Jean State Park, so we have a gated entrance. A scheduled tour is required before being allowed on property.
